Concho Valley Home for Girls is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, which meets monthly.  The Board oversees  all the operations of the agency and actively participates in our major fundraising events.  Members are initially elected for a two-year term , but many serve successive terms.  This year’s members include:

Agency Staff is headed by Executive Director Sammye Ruppeck (sammye@conchokids.org).   Kelli Mojovich (kelli@conchokids .org) is the Treatment Program Manager for the Girls Home, and Judy James (judy@conchokids.org) is the Shelter manager.  Workforce Advocate Kassie Coffey (Kassie@conchokids.org) directs Transition Center activities.

Volunteers. Our Sustainers Circle is an informal auxiliary that meets occasionally.  It sometimes sponsors an event such as an  open house, but individual members assist with a wide variety of tasks,  and support the agency in whatever other ways they choose.  We always welcome new volunteers; those interested should contact info@conchokids.org.

 

Service Area.  The Home and Shelter are licensed to admit children from anywhere in the state of Texas.  However, most of the admissions we receive are from Texas Department of Protective and Family Services Regions 2 and 9, shown on the map at right. 

The Transition Center serves former foster children now resident in those two regions.
