Concho Valley Bluegrass Festival

The fourth  annual Concho Valley Bluegrass Festival on April 9 and 10, 2010, was another big success.  Featured bands included  Kody Norris & the Watauga Mtn. Boys from Mountain City, Tennessee; Midnight Flight, Missouri;  Batten Family,  Lubbock, Texas; Triple L, Portales, New Mexico; No Limit, Ropesville, TX;  and Concho Grass, San Angelo, Host Band for the Festival.

 

This year’s event was dedicated to Nelson and Ginnie McGee of San Angelo in recognition of all they have done for West Texas Bluegrass and for our agency.

 

Next year’s festival will be on April 8 & 9, 2011. As planning progresses, we’ll be posting information about bands and so on our Facebook page, so check in often! (Click the button at left to connect)

 

 

The Pavilion is air-conditioned.  Chairs are provided, or you may bring your own.  Drinks are free.  The concession stand will be open for lunch  and dinner on April 9 and 10.  No  alcoholic beverages. 

 

A free pancake supper will be offered at 6 pm the Thursday before the festival.
