GENERAL ASSISTANCE

HOUSING AND TRANSPORTATION
San Angelo Public Housing Authority, (325)-481-2500 Provide HUD information and applications for youth.
Salvation Army, Red Shield Lodge provides temporary shelter for homeless, 2 free nights each night after is $13.00. You can call (325) 655-6981 during the day after five you can call (325) 227-4679.
Medical Transportation- can help you get to an appointment if notified within reasonable time frame. 1-877-633-8747
Concho Valley Transit District operates city buses. For bus routes and schedules, go to www.cvcog.org and click on Transportation tab. Monthly passes are $15.00 if you are a student or if you present a Medicaid card. Passes can be purchased at the Santa Fe Depot, FMI call 947-8729.
